Do your thoughts serve you?
In my yoga class yesterday, the teacher talked on a conversation I had all day with people. She always seems to talk about things I am presently mindful of. She talked about how much of what we think does not serve us in the best way or even cause us to waste a lot of time on irrelevant actions. By our constant want from the outside, always wanting the next thing we influence our actions. This all stems from our thoughts of want. Want is almost never based on a reality. It is vital as the yogis say, to be conscious as thoughts arise before they create desire, influencing action that we take notice and analyze them. Do these thoughts serve me, are they real, are they based on a reality or just thoughts; are they for the good of me and all the rest of the world? Most thoughts are not of reality but what we create in our mind. Reality is all that remains constant regardless of our thoughts. Thought when festered can create actions that many times do not serve us well. This is what I have focused on very strongly over the past two years. Reading and listening to Eckhart Tolle the master of differentiating reality from thoughts. It is so true that most or our life experience, what we consider to be true, real and are subjected to is all created in our mind. They are all the thoughts that create the world we are living in. Once you step out of the mind and see what is really real around us do you begin to see the possibility of a different life experience.
Then if you apply quantum physics like in The Secret
or Dr. Wayne Dyer’s The Power Of Intention
do you see the possibility of actually creating the life experience you want. It reminds me of a speaker at one of T. Harv Ecker’s seminars I attended called Master Your Mind, John Kehoe one of the grandfathers of thought consciousness and manifestation spoke. I must get his book Mind Power
.
So let me ask you this:
What thoughts are you acting on that do not serve your true being, your heart, your purpose? Do they contribute to you being the person you wish to be?
Are your thoughts just in your mind or are they inspired from reality?
