Technology has come to the point where very small generators can produce enough electricity to service many of our now very energy efficient house hold fixtures. I saw a program on the science channel where a man had a shop building electric power source for impoverished country. He fitted old defunct bicycles with electric generators and it really works. Peddling a stationary bike to light a light bulb or drive a power tool proved very effective, it was amazing. Another program I saw showed a local gym that had all its workout equipment fitted with generators in which the customers working out literally fueled a great portion of the gyms electrical needs. Another project I saw was a company of floating gyms that transported people to and from work while they worked out and yes they produced electricity. If you think about it, anywhere there is motion there is the possibility of creating electricity. In reading the article bellow I just had a thought. What if your source of water flow in your home was fitted with a generator that charged fuel cells in your home whenever water was running? When you take a shower, you’re charging your batteries, when you wash dishes, run the laundry machine, dish washer, watering the lawn, washing your car, filling the kiddy pool. Every time water flows it turns a generator that charged your home’s power supply. The time is coming when we will all be producing our own power needs with no waste, no byproducts, and no pollution.

global warming or Global Govrement?

Until yesterday I felt as we all do that global warming is directly related to our mistreatment / abuse of ecco environmental system.  That is until I watched this movie, Global Warming or Global Governance? http://www.sprword.com/videos/globalgovernance/

It appears that certain stats and information regarding the changes in the Earth pointed to the warming trend is but a snapshot in the long history of the planet’s roller coaster ride of warming and cooling trends. Weather and geological changes have been sweeping through dramatic highs and lows, twists and turns for millenniums. In a linier graph of the planets existence we are just a spec on the long line of bliss and turmoil. Two or three generations of human life would look like a fly or maybe a small mouse at best on the Great Wall of China. What we see in global changes over a much longer view of activity shows that warming trends as we are experiencing now are quite normal and even expected. We are in fact very lucky we have not yet seen the devastation of what could and will inevitably happen. If you have ever watch Mega Disasters on the History Channel you know what I am talking about. We are living in close proximity to supper volcanoes that are well overdue for eruption. One of which is on the coast of Africa that will send half of the mountain slashing into the ocean sending a ½ mile high wave speeding to the coast of the US in excess of 500mph. The entire Yellowstone National park is literally one giant volcanic mass upon eruption would cover half the state of Wyoming and send enough sun blocking plums around the world to cause another ice age. Scars on our plant’s surface indicate strikes by massive meteors that did and will again someday change life here forever. Yes as destructive and naive as we are to the world it appears that we may not be the cause of the trends described in the ecco emergency propaganda. HOWEVER. This is no excuse to continue our pillaging and general disregard for the world upon which we live. The fear of global warming has set into motion the search for new technologies that not only offer more ecco friendly alternative but inherently are less disruptive to our own health and well being. What is good for the planet is more in line with nature and we being of nature, what is good for the planet is good for us; good for all life as for as that goes. The one thing we must never forget is that all life on this planet, be it plant or animal exist within the basic principle and laws of what we call nature. Global Warming, Depletion of Petroleum, Toxic Dumping and Chemical infestation of our daily lives through our food and life style products are all a calling for us to take a good look at the world we have created and what we are leaving for the generations to come. Many conspiracy theorists’ believe this is all an intentional well planed operation put into place to reduce the human population to relieve the burden on the planet, while others believe it is the result of heartless power-hungry corporate and political agendas. Either way it is happening and we are well overdue for a new look at the nightmare we have created. It is time to make changes NOW. A few weeks back I heard a news commentary on a comment made by Senator Obama when he said it is time we get the old out of our government. Not those words exactly but the news commentary misunderstood his comment about the need to get out the old. They debated his comment as if he was talking about the people being old and slash at him for being condescending when in fact he was referring to the old ways of government (the boys club / inner circle, payoffs, 3am lobbying…) and that it is time for a newer, younger, unattached player to step up and have a shot for the next generation. I agree though it is hard to come into such an established system and think you can shake things up. Most of our hopeful leaders as such in the past ended up six feet under when calling for truth, honesty and fairness.
It is a lot to think about and as the movie that brought this blog about has pointed out, global warming propaganda may in fact just be another covert agenda to create global government. Check it out and come back to this blog and post your thoughts. I would love to hear what you think.

FARM WORKERS AND ANIMAL RIGHTS ACTIVISTS LOSE FREEDOM OFSPEECH
Despite massive opposition from public interest groups and civil libertarians, the Animal Enterprise Terrorism Act, AETA, became law on November 27, 2007 upon receiving President Bush's signature. Its stated purpose is "to provide the Department of Justice the necessary authority to apprehend, prosecute, and convict individuals committing animal enterprise terror." But AETA is not limited to acts of violence or property destruction. It extends to anyone who attempts to, or conspires to, interfere with an animal enterprise. AETA offers no defense to activists who expose illegal activities. Animal researchers and factory farms that are operating illegally can use AETA to protect themselves from whistle blowers. The effect of AETA is to label social justice activists as terrorists when they work to expose animal cruelty, poor labor conditions, or environmental violations in agribusiness or the biomedical industries. It's time to repeal AETA.

EVER since “An Inconvenient Truth,” Al Gore has been the darling of environmentalists, but that movie hardly endeared him to the animal rights folks. According to them, the most inconvenient truth of all is that raising animals for meat contributes more to global warming than all the sport utility vehicles combined.

A thought on hunger

I find it so ridicules now when I hear someone say “I am starving” or “I gotta eat before I collapse. I mean I know what they really mean and that it is simply an expression. I myself use to say such things but after digging into the mind a little bit and putting words into perspective, it all sounds so exaggerated and ridiculously out of context. It seems harmless but in language like this we often create discomfort in out life without noticing it by misplaced focus. In the case of food, to say “I am starving” would mean that you are devoid of life sustaining nutrients and require massive amounts of food now. Hunger is then perceived in the conscious mind as a need for quantity when the reality is quite the opposite. For most of us hunger refers to a time when you hadn’t eaten in a few hours and are ready for another meal or more than likely you have thought of something you want to eat and thinking of it is creating a desire to have it. The smell of food when passing homes or restaurants can wake the taste buds up of even a well nourished individual. But even when hunger emerges for justifiable reasons, to say “you’re so hungry you could eat a horse” indicates a mindset of misplaced focus. Hunger for most of us anyway is not a need to eat allot, it is a need to eat now or soon anyway. If you had not eaten in 6 hours and are feeling hungry it is not to say that you are down to skin and bones and will die by sundown if you don’t eat. In The Secret they teach us that words use consciously or unconsciously contributes to our life experience. Putting our relationship with food into a true perspective is one of the first steps in changing eating habit for better health. There is a saying that floats around the NYC raw food scene and that is “Eat to live don’t live to eat. The need to eat is such a mental one that getting that under control is life altering.
