Is there and answer to the Greece Economic Collapse
Grouping multiple economies under one currency is a ship with no air chambers. Meaning if you puncture a whole in one little spot the whole ship will fill with water. If you section the hull and a portion get flooded the other sections can maintain buoyancy of the ship. It works the same in economics; huge corporations that hold massive market shares are like ships with one hull, if they have a problem then the entire market has that problem and we all suffer. Economies that function with just a few huge conglomerate banks can bring down a whole economic sector if that one bank has a problem.
