OK here we go again. Lies Lies Lies. When will the human race get out of this idea that it is acceptable to out right lie in order to sell us things we would not otherwise buy, especially when it comes to our health and well being? This is for our families, friends our children our future and our karma. What we put out into the world will always and inevitably come back to us in some shape or form. Is it really that much more difficult to do things the right way? Are we crocked or lazy, are we lost or delusional, are we naive or just plain stupid? What is wrong with doing things right? Yes perhaps the FDA should be on top of this more but really, come-on. We simply can’t put an inspector on ever box of food that comes into or out of our food supply; that is just impossible and we shouldn’t need to. The focus here on eliminating the problem is in the wrong place. What we need is a worldwide education and awakening of the huge over all affect the food producers have on the world and their omnipotent responsibility. The must feel there place of importance and respect the laws of nature and respect their selves enough to hold grandeur to this position. Yes they are godlike in their power over the people of this planet and should be wanting to do what is best for human kind, not focusing so much on their economic position. As soon as something becomes about money, its true value is lost.

This morning I went to sign my Dog up for welfare.  At first the lady said, "Dogs are not eligible to draw welfare".  So I explained to her that my Dog is a mix in color, unemployed, lazy, can't speak English and has no frigging clue who his Daddy is.  He expects me to feed him, provide him with housing and medical care, and feel guilty because he is a dog.

So she looked in her policy book to see what it takes to qualify. My Dog gets his first check Friday. 

Damn this is a great country. 

 A livestock drug banned in 160 nations and responsible for hyperactivity, muscle breakdown
and 10 percent mortality in pigs has been approved by the FDA.

The beta agonist ractopamine, a repartitioning agent that increases protein synthesis, was recruited for livestock use when researchers found the drug, used in asthma, made mice more muscular.

Ractopamine is started as the animal nears slaughter.

How does a drug marked, "Not for use in humans. Individuals with cardiovascular disease should exercise special caution to avoid exposure. Use protective clothing, impervious gloves, protective eye wear, and a NIOSH-approved dust mask" become "safe" in human food? With no washout period?

The drug is banned in Europe, Taiwan and China, and more than 1,700 people have been "poisoned" from eating pigs fed the drug since 1998, but ractopamine is used in 45 percent of U.S. pigs and 30 percent of ration-fed cattle.

I have been meaning to post this for a month now and finally have found a moment to do so.
As some of you know I have been investigating the raw cacao industry and raw powder and butter in particular. You heard it here first that basically every cacao product on the market today is actually cooked, and as of right now Essential Living Foods, Big Tree Organics and the paste from Ultimate Superfoods (not the powder) is actually a raw product.

Well, I have a grand finale to this story. After many conversations and emails I have discovered some important info about Sunfood, David Wolfes company.

First of all, it is not David Wolfes company.

As of at least 12 months ago, it has been owned by Doug Harbison, a non raw foodist non superhero cooked wonder bread old school business executive. David Wolfe makes no money off of Sunfood and owns no stock in Sunfood. He tried to get Sunfood off of cooked chocolate products and the owners would not listen to him. In fact, they have over 8 lawsuits against David Wolfe.

Among many attacks on our right to non agenda formulated news, true information and free speech Obama has introduces his "Internet Security Czar" which will control, filter i.e. destroy free speech, the sharing of information and the freedom to opinion over the world Wide Web to all citizens in the US.
